Welcome to the Floorboard Planner. By accessing or using our application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Description of Service

The Floorboard Planner is a digital estimation and visualization tool designed to assist users in planning flooring layouts and calculating potential material requirements. We offer both a free version with limited features and a paid “Pro” subscription granting full access to the application.

2. Accuracy and Disclaimer of Liability

IMPORTANT: The Floorboard Planner is a digital simulation tool. All calculations, cut lists, and material estimates generated by the app are estimates only. Real-world conditions, including but not limited to uneven walls, material defects, varying blade kerfs, and installation errors, will affect the actual amount of material required.

  • You are solely responsible for independently verifying all measurements and material requirements before making any financial purchases or cutting physical materials.
  • We shall not be held liable for any financial losses, material shortages, material overages, or project delays resulting from the use of, or reliance on, the calculations provided by this application.

3. Pro Subscriptions and Payments

If you choose to upgrade to a “Pro” account, the following terms apply:

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) via our secure payment processor, Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Unless required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to reverse-engineer the application.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, algorithms, UI designs, and code associated with the Floorboard Planner are the intellectual property of Floorboardplanner.com and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our application without explicit written permission.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Floorboard Planner highly available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or technical issues beyond our control.
